During the MACo’s Summer Series session “Kirwan – Where Do We Go From Here” panelists discussed the potential paths forward for Kirwan, the possibility of a veto override, and what implementation means in the midst of a pandemic.
Following the presentations audience members were able to engage in a lively virtual Q&A with the panelists.
Speakers included:
- Craig Rice, Council Member, Montgomery County; MACo Representative on the Kirwan Commission
- Sean Johnson, Assistant Executive Director, Political and Legislative Affairs, Maryland State Education Association
The session was held live on July 22, 2020, and a recording is available to individuals registered for MACo’s Summer Series.
