MACo’s Summer Conference, “Taking Care of Business,” is coming up August 17-20, 2022 and is completely IN-PERSON at the Convention Center in Ocean City, MD. Here are 4 Rs to help you get ready…

Exhibitors participating in 2022 Summer Conference costume contest – The Great Outdoors

1. Renew your view of Maryland – Plan to Visit the County Exhibits in Hall ABC
Be sure to visit our county exhibitors in Hall ABC on the first floor of the Convention Center. The exhibit hall them is “Epic Eighties,” so be sure to stop by and see their decorations and costumes and learn more about the exciting projects and awesome tourism destinations all across our state! And don’t miss our Taste of MD Reception on Thursday from 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm…county exhibits will offer tasting samples from around the state – oysters, pickles, cheese, jams, charcuterie, cookies, cakes, beer, wine, coffee, AND MORE!

2. Reserve your discounted hotel room
MACo works with many hotels in Ocean City to offer blocks of discounted hotel rooms during our Summer Conference. Rates are only available to conference participants. BOOK NOW – some of our blocks are already full, expired, or are selling out quickly, which means they will be unavailable before they hit the expiration date!

3. Register for the Golf Tournament
MACo Summer Conference attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors are eligible to participate in our Golf Tournament on Wednesday, August 17, at the Ocean City Golf Club. Create your own foursome or let MACo assign you to a foursome – it is a great opportunity to meet new people or reconnect with old friends, all of whom are involved in local government in one way or another! 4. Review our Showcase Sessions
MACo’s Solutions Showcase features case studies and real-world examples of solutions and supports for common governance issues and priorities.
