The MACo Park and Recreation Affiliate is sponsoring a session on the Future of Land Preservation and Open Space Funding on Thursday, August 19 from 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. during MACo’s Summer Conference in Ocean City. The discussion will focus on opportunities for state and local governments as well as successful public-private partnership models nationally. There will also be a discussion of a newly formed coalition of local and state government officials and non-profit organizations in Maryland dedicated to establishing principles to shape the development of Maryland and achieve conservation on a regional scale for the next 100 years. The panel of experts scheduled to discuss these programs and projects and issues are:
