Montgomery County Proposed Budget Hits Libraries, Health Services, Employees

Montgomery County Launches One-Stop Online Source for Population Data

Montgomery County officials have launched a one-stop online source for population-based community health information . Senior Medicare Patrol Program Expands into Six Rural Maryland Counties

The Rural Maryland Council has partnered with the Maryland Department of Aging to bring the Senior Medicare Patrol program to six rural counties in Maryland. Frederick County Health Dept. To Hold Community Meeting

On August 12th from 6:30pm-8:30pm, the Frederick County Health Department will hold the first in a series of public meetings to address concerns over cancer clusters within the county.  The county is currently in the  process of confirming participation from state and federal public and environmental health agencies. Counties Saving Consumers Millions On Prescriptions

Launched in 2004 as a 17-county pilot program, the National Association of Counties (NACo) in partnership with CVS Caremark, introduced the NACo Prescription Drug Discount Card Program. HHS unveils Community Health Data Initiative

U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius unveiled the Community Health Data Initiative , featuring the Network of Care, earlier this month in Washington, D.C.  The innovative health-data project is a result of the partnership's between NACo, Triology Integrated Resources, LLC, and the Healthy Communities Institute.
