The Road Ahead: Electrifying Maryland’s Future

Maryland’s energy future is ambitious. Expert panelists get into the weeds on what will need to happen in order to meet the state’s renewable energy goals.

Between the Climate Solutions Now Act, the Brighter Tomorrow Act, and Governor Moore’s executive order to quicken the transition to renewables, Maryland’s policymakers are ramping up the pressure to push the state to 100 percent clean energy. In order to meet this ambition, leaders from industry, government, nonprofits, and everywhere in between must work together. MACo’s The Road Ahead: Electrifying Maryland’s Future panel gets into the weeds on what the next few years may look like and major milestones in this transition.

Description: Maryland’s electric future is filled with immense challenges but also incredible opportunities. How are counties preparing for vehicles several tons heavier than current models? These and more questions will be answered by expert panelists driving Maryland’s all-electric future.
