Best Practices for Recruitment and Retention of Modern Law Enforcement

The Bureau of Justice Assistance and the Office of Community Oriented Policing Services published a report of recommendations to address the challenges in recruitment and retention that law enforcement agencies are facing nationwide.

Recruitment and retention work groups and legislative initiatives have continued to increase as workforce challenges remain a stark reality for the public sector. The publication is the result of a convening of law enforcement and community leaders across the country.
