On October 11th, the Local Leadership Workgroup for the Alliance for the Bay is hosting a webinar entitled “How to Use A Local Government Guide to the Chesapeake Bay.”
The Alliance for the Bay’s Local Leadership Workgroup (LLWG) recently announced a virtual “How to Use A Local Government Guide to the Chesapeake Bay” Resources Training Session designed exclusively for local government officials and individuals working alongside government representatives.
The LLWG is providing this opportunity with the goal of introducing county leaders to the Protect Local Waterways website and the suite of learning modules and supporting resources available there. These modules were developed by a team that includes elected local government leaders with the intention of highlighting the benefits of adopting environmental protection policies and actions. This training program will teach you to navigate the Protect Local Waterways website and take full advantage of the array of resources available. Our goal is to empower county leaders to educate and inspire others within their community on the benefits to county economies and stakeholders of environmental protection and restoration.
The webinar will be held on October 11, 2023 from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm via Zoom.
