Carroll County’s “Keeping it Real” is back for a second season. The program, hosted by Commissioner Stephen Wantz, offers a “behind-the-scenes” look at Carroll County Government.

In the latest episode, Commissioner Wantz sits down with Tom Coe from the Carroll County Volunteer Emergency Services Association to highlight the collaboration between the County and volunteer fire service personnel to address challenges faced by volunteer fire companies and rescue squads across Carroll County.

“Keeping it Real” airs Sundays at 8:00 pm on Comcast Channel 24. You can view previous episodes on the Carroll County Government YouTube channel.

At the 2019 MACo Summer Conference, back-to-back sessions explored best practices in volunteer recruitment and retention and strategic planning with the aim of supporting Maryland’s volunteer fire companies.
