Speaker Jones to Address Maryland County Elected Officials

The first woman to serve as Speaker of the Maryland House of Delegates will address county elected officials at the annual gathering of the Women of MACo.

The Women of MACo, a chapter organization of the Maryland Association of Counties, hold an annual lunch meeting at the MACo Summer Conference.

Speaker Jones will address female county elected officials at the chapter meeting of the Women of MACo.

Previous guests have included Maryland Treasurer Nancy Kopp, Maryland Delegate Sheree Sample-Hughes (2018-2019 President of the Women Legislators of Maryland), Baltimore City Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, and Frederick County Executive Jan Gardner, among other elected officials and advocates of issues having a particular effect on women and families in Maryland.

This year’s meeting will be held on Friday, August 16, 2019, at the Ocean City Convention Center. The special guest speaker will be Maryland’s House of Delegates Speaker Adrienne Jones.

Frederick County Council President M.C. Keegan-Ayer is the President of the Women of MACo.
