Two programs benefiting rural areas have grant applications now open through the Rural Maryland Council.
The Rural Maryland Prosperity Investment Fund (RMPIF) and the Maryland Agricultural Education and Rural Development Assistance Fund (MAERDAF) online grant applications are now available for Fiscal Year 2020.

Important Dates:
- Friday, May 31, 2019 – Letter of Intent (LOI) must be submitted electronically by 5:00 pm.
- Monday, June 24, 2019 – Notification of decision on all submissions sent via e-mail; Accepted applicants notified to submit a full application.
- Friday, July 26, 2019 – Full application due to RMC by 5:00 pm.
- Monday, August 19, 2019 – MAERDAF and RMPIF Grant Recipients announced
RMC will offer a webinar and information sessions throughout the State for attendees to learn more about the organization and the resources available to rural-serving organizations.
