DNR & Baltimore-Washington Partners for Forest Stewardship Host Workshop on “Sustaining Nature in an Urbanizing Landscape”

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and the Baltimore-Washington Partners for Forest Stewardship is hosting its 4th annual joint workshop on November 8 at the Patuxent National Wildlife Visitor’s Center in Laurel, Maryland.

The workshop is titled “Sustaining Nature in an Urbanizing Landscape” and a partial list of speakers includes representatives from the Maryland Department of Planning, the Maryland Sustainable Growth Commission, Maryland National Capitol Park and Planning Commission-Prince George’s, Fort Meade, and the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center.  Former Maryland Governor Parris Glendening will be the keynote speaker.
