Delegate McIntosh To Address MACo Legislative Committee (update: cancelled with regrets)

Update: Delegate McIntosh sends her regrets, but the ever-changing schedule in the House now precludes her joining MACo on Wednesday.

Previous report below:

At the Wednesday, February 29 meeting of MACo’s Legislative Committee, Delegate Maggie McIntosh plans to join the body for comments on the range of issues facing her committee this session. Delegate McIntosh is Chair of the House Committee on Environmental Matters, which will be reviewing legislation affecting septic systems and land use authority, the implementation of PlanMaryland, and local stormwater fees.

While the schedule of the House of Delegates (which meets each morning on its floor at 10am) has a wildly variable effect on members; availability, the Chair has agreed to join MACo upon the conclusion of the House floor session.

Dr. David Lever, director of the state’s school construction program, will also present to the Committee that morning.
