The Gazette reports that Prince George’s County has launched a web-based curriculum geared towards high school juniors and seniors who do not thrive academically in traditional classroom settings. Created in collaboration with Connections Academy, the ACCESS Online program offers a hybrid learning environment where students not only learn online, but away from a physical school campus. The program is open to 60 students for the 2010-2011 school year. For more information on the program contact Gloria Keaton at 301.618.7320.
