Social Equity Cannabis Business Licensing Round Closes

More than 1,700 applications were submitted across all license categories. The initial business licensing round for new cannabis growers, processors, and dispensaries closed on December 12, with more than 1,700 applications submitted across all three license categories. USDA Forces Farmers to Choose Between Hemp or Cannabis

The US Department of Agriculture is increasingly revoking the hemp licenses of farmers who grow cannabis in states where it is legal.  Farmers who grow both cannabis and hemp are reporting that the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has taken the aggressive approach of revoking hemp licenses.
