Congresswoman April McClain Delaney and Delegate Heather Bagnall to Speak at Women of MACo Luncheon
A hallmark of the annual MACo Summer Conference is the opportunity to hear from leaders at every level of government on the issues shaping Maryland’s counties. This year’s Women of MACo Luncheon will feature two distinguished guest speakers: Congresswoman April McClain Delaney, who represents Maryland’s 6th Congressional District in the US House of Representatives, and Delegate Heather Bagnall, Chair of the Maryland House Health Committee. Together, they will share perspectives from both the federal and state levels on leadership, public service, and the policy challenges facing Maryland communities.
The keynote address will be delivered by Delegate Heather Bagnall, Chair of the Maryland House Health Committee. Since joining the General Assembly in 2019, Chair Bagnall has become a leading voice on behavioral health, expanding access to mental health and substance use disorder services, oral health care, and food security.
Attendees will hear about each leader’s career journey, approach to public service, and priorities for the year ahead.
Don’t miss their remarks on Friday, August 14, from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM.
MACo’s Summer Conference, “Build What’s Next,” takes place August 12–15, 2026, at the Roland Powell Convention Center in Ocean City, Maryland. For more information, visit the conference website.
