Julian Jones (D) holds a 14 point lead in a 5-person race to win the Democratic primary for Baltimore County Executive.
The Baltimore County Executive primary race was contested on both the Democratic and Republican sides.
In the 5-person race for the Democratic nomination Julian Jones (D) currently leads with 41 percent of the vote followed by Izzy Patoka (D) with 27 percent.
In the Republican primary Patrick V. Dyer (R) garnered 66 percent of the vote to beat Kimberley Stansbury (R).
Appointed incumbent, and former Maryland Senator Kathy Klausmeier (D) is not running. County Executive Klausmeier was appointed to fill the vacant Baltimore County Executive seat left by Johnny Olszewski (D) when he was elected to Congress in 2024.
