Forging Ahead In Year Four of Maryland’s Blueprint at #MACoCon

Despite various market-based obstacles and a global pandemic, the Blueprint for Maryland’s Future – the statewide education reform plan – has forged ahead. Local education agencies have been implementing mandates and writing hundreds of reports covering some of the greatest achievements and challenges of the initial roll out. As year four of the plan to overhaul prekindergarten through twelve education begins, state leadership has recently characterized this year as a shift from the broad start-up phase into developing the more nuanced elements of on-the-ground programs in every jurisdiction. This 2025 MACo Summer Conference panel with feature experts from around the state as well as centralized leadership to discuss progress and opportunities as the reform plan continues.
