Founded in 1995, the Historic Sites Consortium of Queen Anne’s County looked for ways to educate and involve residents and visitors in the history of the county. The Consortium works to preserve, develop and promote the region’s cultural heritage.
While journeying through the county, numerous sites showcase the rich heritage and culture of both past and present residents.
Among the highlights featured on the tours are a historical theatre, several churches, museums, train depots, numerous historical houses, and other captivating landmarks.
Tours started on May 4, 2024 and continue through October. The sites on Kent Island will be open from 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm and all other sites will be open from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. For more information about the historic sites, and to see the full brochure visit Historic Sites Consortium of Queen Anne’s County.
