Share Your Views on Electric Vehicle Infrastructure; Take the MDOT Survey!

The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) is seeking input from Maryland community members to identify the challenges and opportunities associated with electric vehicle (EV) ownership and the installation of EV charging infrastructure.

The valuable information gathered from the Maryland EV and Infrastructure Planning Survey will help MDOT better understand how to use federal and state funding best to electrify Maryland’s transportation sector and meet state greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction goals. Please take 10 minutes to complete the survey (available until May 15th) and share it widely with your community networks.

This survey will build upon MDOT’s ongoing EV infrastructure work, including the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Program. Under the NEVI Program, MDOT will invest approximately $63 million to install a robust, convenient, and reliable public charger network along Maryland’s highways and in communities. Maryland’s NEVI Program Round 1 Request for Proposals closed recently, and proposal reviews are now underway.
