The AIB will hold a public hearing on November 10 on its draft Comprehensive Implementation Plan to guide the state and counties as they embark on implementing the Blueprint for Maryland’s Future.

The Blueprint Accountability and Implementation Board (AIB) is tasked with overseeing the implementation of Maryland’s major education policy reform initiative known as the Blueprint for Maryland’s Future. The AIB has published a draft of Phase One of its Comprehensive Implementation Plan to guide Blueprint implementation over the 10-year implementation period and to hold State and local entities accountable for successful implementation.

The AIB published its Comprehensive Implementation Plan last month. A public hearing on that draft plan is scheduled for November 10 1 pm – 5 pm and 6 pm – 8:30 pm. Stakeholders can use this form to submit feedback on the draft plan ahead of that meeting.

The AIB is expected to vote on a final plan and set of recommendations and then submit them to the governor and General Assembly by December 1, ahead of the 2023 legislative session.
