Prince George’s to Host “Growing Green with Pride Day”

Prince George’s County will host a Countywide community cleanup program entitled “Growing Green with Pride.” 

“Growing Green with Pride” supports Prince George’s Beautification Initiative to make their community cleaner by conducting individual community litter collection events, which demonstrates shared commitment to keeping communities appealing and attractive. Community organizations and groups are encouraged to participate.

The event is on Saturday, October 15, 2022 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Communities are invited to help keep Prince George’s County clean and beautiful by planting trees, shrubs, flowers and picking up roadside litter and removing illegal dumping.

If your community or organization would like to join our efforts by participating in the Fall 2022 Growing Green with Pride Day community clean-up event, I encourage you to please complete the registration form. When completing the application, please provide all of the pertinent information requested, including the name and mailing address of your community or organization’s primary contact, the expected number of volunteers, and the area and street name(s) of where your community will be planting and cleaning. The registration deadline for signing up is Friday, October 7, 2022.
