Remake Learning Days Festival Returns to Maryland

The Remake Learning Days Festival is returning to Maryland and neighboring states this week.

Remake Learning Days Across America (RLDAA) is a national festival of “innovative, hands-on learning experiences for kids, families, and educators.” Events are free and include in-person “hands on” activities and virtual options.

According to a press release:

Here in the Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) region and across the country, the festival provides opportunities for youth to develop their sense of creativity, perseverance, and curiosity and for educators to experience new teaching methods and opportunities for professional development.

Festival events are hosted by local organizations in communities across the country at their venue (or virtual). The event focuses on engaging communities that are often overlooked or underserved, and celebrates innovation in learning in key theme areas:

  • Arts
  • Maker
  • Outdoor Learning
  • Science
  • Technology
  • Youth Voice
  • Professional Development

This year’s festival takes place May 14-22 with over 50 events in the DMV alone.
