Calvert’s “Chalk the Walk” Kicks Off Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week

Join the Calvert Board of County Commissioners in kicking off Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week, May 1-7.

Calvert County Family Network, Calvert County Health Department, Calvert County Parks and Recreation, and Calvert Library invite Marylanders to participate in Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week by joining them at the courtyard of the Calvert County Circuit Courthouse on Tuesday, May 3 at 9:30 a.m. Come ready to “Chalk the Walk” and draw attention to the importance of mental health in children’s development.

Each day, different areas of Calvert County will be offering chalk to decorate sidewalks and raise awareness about children’s mental health. Location and times include:

Monday, May 2 – Saturday, May 7
All Calvert Library Locations

Monday, May 2 – Friday, May 6
All Calvert County Behavioral Health Locations
(Lusby, Barstow, Prince Frederick and Chesapeake Beach)
