Chesapeake Employers Insurance Earns High Rating, Provides Safety Resources

AM Best, a global credit rating agency specializing in the insurance industry, has upgraded the Financial Strength Rating of Chesapeake Employers’ Insurance Company to A (Excellent) from A- (Excellent) and the Long-Term Issuer Credit Rating to “a” from “a-”. The outlook of these Credit Ratings (ratings) has been revised to stable from positive.

CEIWC logoChesapeake Employers’ Insurance Company is Maryland’s largest writer of workers’ compensation insurance. It is a nonprofit, non-stock, private corporation. Chesapeake Employers has served as a continuous, guaranteed source for fairly priced workers’ compensation insurance since 1914.
