MDOT MVA to Reopen More Branches

Starting June 22, Maryland Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Administration (MDOT MVA) will reopen five more branches to the public, but continue to operate as appointment only.

This will push the total branches open to 22, as the other 17 branches opened June 8. Face coverings are required for all employees and customers, and social distancing markers have been installed around the offices. Still in place is Governor Larry Hogan’s executive order authorizing an extension of all driver’s and business licenses, identification cards, permits, and regulations that expire or are eligible for renewal during the state of emergency. The listed documents will not expire until 30 days after the state of emergency has been lifted.
