One of MACo’s top priorities for the 2019 session, advancing Next Generation 9-1-1 Services Across Maryland, will become law at the April 30 bill signing.
The signing of hundreds of bills, scheduled to start at 11am, will seal a broad-based effort by many stakeholders who helped advance the much-needed efforts. HB 397 and SB 339 were the two identical bills that both made the critical system improvements needed, and received broad bipartisan support.
County officials and emergency services personnel who seek to be present for the bill signing are welcome to visit the MACo offices at 10:30 am.
