First Term Congressman Trone Spearheads Addiction Working Group

Representative David Trone announced a 36-member congressional Freshmen Working Group On Addiction

Maryland’s recently-elected U.S. Representative David Trone (D, MD6) today announced the formation of a coalition of newly-elected representatives dedicated to working on addiction issues. His Twitter account highlighted the first notes of the effort:

MACo has adopted “Re-Prioritizing Public Health” as a top effort for 2019, and has supported multiple pieces of state legislation to target the opioid and addiction crisis across the state.
