
Every year at MACo’s Summer Conference, attendees collect unused toiletries from their hotels. MACo collects those toiletries and donates them to a charity in the county of the current MACo President.
This year, the Summer Conference toiletries were donated to Sarah’s House.
Sarah’s House provides emergency and supportive housing for residents and families experiencing homelessness in Anne Arundel County. It is unique in that it operates through a partnership between Catholic Charities, the United States Army, and Anne Arundel County.
Sarah’s House Services include:
- Emergency Shelter
- Project North Supportive Housing
- Case Management
- Outreach Services
- Substance Use Services
- Mental Health Services
- Employment Services
- Legal and Financial Services

Sarah’s House also provides a fully-licensed child care center on site. It can accommodate up to 40 children, five days a week. The charity is proudly sporting a brand new playground that officially opened approximately 2 weeks ago.
