The Maryland County Officials Diversity Caucus held a holiday reception at the MACo Winter Conference.
Special guest Charles County Sheriff Troy Berry shared remarks on the importance of community policing and law enforcement as an economic investment in the success of communities.

The Maryland County Officials Diversity Caucus is a chapter organization of MACo composed of county elected officials interested in minority issues. The Diversity Caucus helps foster current and future leaders from within the community of elected officials and helps empower, represent and respond to issues affecting vulnerable communities and constituencies.
The reception was held Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm. The MACo Winter Conference was held December 7-9, 2016 at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Hotel in Cambridge. This year’s conference theme was “An Ounce of Prevention.”
