Laura Hurley has been named the new Council Administrator for Wicomico County, replacing Matt Creamer who is retiring on December 31, 2016.

According to DelmarvaNow.com,

County Council President John T. Cannon said Hurley’s appointment was made with the unanimous consent of the council.

Hurley, a Wicomico County resident, graduated from Salisbury University with a bachelor’s degree in business management in 2012. She is a registered paralegal and has experience working with Wicomico County as a legal assistant in the Wicomico County Department of Law and as an executive office associate in the Council Office.
