Implementation of new geographic information systems require a collaborative approach with the State and requirements for updates and enhancements to current systems present potential resource shortages for local providers.

On September 23, MACo’s Emergency Manager’s Affiliate and the Baltimore Metropolitan Council are co-hosting a roundtable on Next Generation 9-1-1 for:

  1. County Emergency Managers,
  2. County Public Safety Answering Point Directors, and
  3. County Public Safety GIS staff.

Three designated officials from each county may register for the event here.

For more information, see the Next Gen 9-1-1 Roundtable Flyer.
