Not using those travel-sized shampoos? Donate them to a homeless shelter at #MACoCon

logo-final-cmyk MACo will be accepting donations of UNOPENED hotel toiletries on behalf of a Washington County homeless shelter and nonprofit organization at their Summer Conference on August 17-20, 2016.

The toiletries will be donated to Reach of Washington County:

The mission of Reach of Washington County is to respond out of compassion to people in need. Reach’s programs include services that span from safety net to self-sufficiency. Reach operates a cold weather shelter, provides homeless prevention and rapid rehousing services, case management services, financial education classes and a volunteer supported wrap around service called Open Table. Reach leverages resources in the local faith community to support these endeavors through the volunteer work of over 1,600 individuals.

If you’re participating in MACo’s Summer Conference on August 17-20, please remember to grab any unopened hotel shampoos, conditioners, soaps, lotions, etc. from your room and bring them with you. The donation bin will be set up near the registration kiosks every day of the conference.
