The Employment Law Hotline is available at no charge to LGIT members of the Primary Liability Pool. It provides members with direct access to a licensed Maryland attorney at Karpinski, Colaresi, and Karp P.A., during normal business hours, who will answer legal questions and help resolve specific issues and situations that arise in the workplace. These attorneys can provide up to 30 minutes of free legal advice for each employment issue.
The attorneys will help resolve a wide range of employment-related issues that could result in costly litigation. They will provide sound legal advice on a wide array of employment issues and statutes, including, but not limited to:
Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA)
Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)

If a member uses the Employment Law Hotline before making an employment decision, and the matter later results in litigation, the member’s deductible for that matter will be reduced by half.
