On November 9, 2015, the Maryland Governor’s Grants Office will host its annual conference, held this year in Hyattsville, MD. The Grants Office welcomes county government representatives to this event and encourages early registration. Early bird registration deadline is Friday, October 9 at Midnight!

Here is the conference announcement from the Governor’s Grants Office:

It’s a new day, with new state leadership, and new rules for federal grants management. Join colleagues from throughout the state and nation on November 9th as we discuss pre and post-award grants issues in the nation’s preeminent grants conference.  We will include intensive training on the Office of Management and Budget’s 2 CFR Section 200 Uniform Administrative Requirements for federal grants and agreements, which came into effect for federal grantees and subgrantees in December of last year.  See how updates throughout the last year will make your grants management easier.

This is an ideal opportunity to network with federal, state, and private funders up close and personal! Bring your entire team – program managers, fiscal, procurement, and legal staff – anyone who touches a grant in your organization should be there.  As always, we will award Continuing Professional Education credits (CPEs).

Registration includes continental breakfast, hot lunch, break refreshments, and parking.

Don’t delay – register today!

According to the Grant’s Office, last year, the conference sold out before the Early Bird registration period ended.
