The Maryland Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) is presenting a webinar on a Local Elected Officials Guide to Emergency Management in Maryland.
On Tuesday May 19, 2015 at 2:00 p.m., MEMA is presenting the webinar, which will provide elected officials with an overview of their roles and responsibilities in emergency management, community expectations, and an understanding of how the Maryland Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) coordinates with local jurisdictions. The presentation is an accompaniment to a soon-to-be-released document of the same name.
This webinar is intended for local elected officials, along with any emergency management partners who interact with these officials, such as local emergency management and responders, local jurisdiction departments, and state agency partners.
