The Charles County Commissioners are pleased to announce the appointment of Michael D. Mallinoff as county administrator. Mallinoff will begin his employment with Charles County Government on May 4, 2015.

Mallinoff has more than 25 years of leadership experience in the government sector, primarily local government. In August 2010, he became the City of Annapolis, Md.’s first city manager, providing oversight for nine departments, more than 600 employees, a $94 million operating budget, and a $100 million capital budget. His career with the City of Annapolis spanned nearly two decades, where he was promoted to several key leadership positions.

“I am honored to have been selected by the Board of Commissioners, and look forward to joining the Charles County community and the Charles County Government family,” said Mallinoff.
