Baltimore City Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake Addresses Women of MACo

Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, Mayor of Baltimore spoke about her twenty years in public office and the importance of more women entering public service in Maryland at the Maryland Association of Counties Conference at the Hyatt Resort in Cambridge, Maryland.

The Women of MACo hosted the Mayor for their luncheon event.  The Women of MACo is a chapter organization of MACo, made up of female elected and appointed officials from all of Maryland’s county governments and Baltimore City.

Also at the luncheon, Baltimore County Council Member Vicki Almond, President of Women of MACo, announced the organization’s new initiative for financial security for women, and Debbie Turner, State Director for Nationwide Retirement Solutions gave a brief presentation on women and retirement.
