Carroll Community Charrettes Consider Combining School Facilities

Carroll County Commissioners are taking a closer look at school facilities and their use in a series of community meetings.

As reported in the Baltimore Sun, the first in a series of community charrettes to gather input on the Carroll County Public Schools’ Facilities Utilization Study was held this week at North Carroll High School.

The study stems from a discussion last year in which the Board of County Commissioners requested a look at how school facilities are being used, and if there might be any opportunities to close, combine or otherwise restructure school programs.

The North Carroll meeting was the first of four charrettes. For more information, including times, dates, and locations of the meetings, see the full story from the Sun.
