Eastern Shore Land Conservancy Hosts Annual Planning Conference on October 3

The Eastern Shore Land Conservancy is hosting its 14th Annual Planning Conference on October 3 at the Tidewater Inn in Easton.  The conference title for this year is “Unsinkable Eastern Shore:  Regional Resilience and Prosperity.”  From the Conservancy’s website:

At this conference, regional leaders will discuss how agriculture, infrastructure and towns can thrive as temperatures climb, sea levels rise, and storms intensify. From major crop damage to land lost, learn about environmental trends facing the region and how others are dealing with the challenges. Talks and workshops, drawing on the Eastern Shore’s traditional resilience, will mobilize leaders to find opportunity and plan for prosperity in a fluctuating climate.
