Invitation to the Comptroller’s Maryland Savings Summit

Comptroller Peter Franchot would like to extend an invitation to county elected, appointed, and local government officials to attend the upcoming Maryland Savings Summit.

From the Comptroller’s Office:

Promoting the importance of saving for the future, Comptroller Franchot will be joined during the event by Maryland State Treasurer Nancy K. Kopp and the Secretary of the Department of Budget & Management T. Eloise Foster. The program will be moderated by veteran business television anchor and correspondent Karen Gibbs.

The purpose of the summit is to discuss the current savings climate in Maryland and why it is critical that Marylanders become proactive about saving for the future. Your schedule permitting we hope that you will be able to join Comptroller Franchot at this event Wednesday, June 19th, 2013 from 10:00 am – 12:30 pm in the Louis L. Goldstein Treasury Building in Annapolis.
