Federal Resources Guide for Rural Communities

The Federal Resources for Sustainable Rural Communities, a guide to federal programs that can promote economic competitiveness and protect healthy environments in rural communities, has been released by the Obama Administration.  Produced by the Partnership for Sustainable Communities, the publication profiles programs available through the USDA, DOT, HUD, and EPA.  Each agency offers different approaches to infrastructure planning and construction, economic development, pollution cleanup, and other issues that are part of achieving sustainable communities.
