As of Friday afternoon, the House Appropriations Committee has announced that its work on the multi-part budget package will not be complete today, as had originally been expected. Specifically, two major parts of the budget plan with county effects are among the topics delayed until Monday for resolution: the expected shift of teacher pension costs, and the maintenance of effort bill.
