At the January 6th Inaugural Banquet and Awards Ceremony at the MACo Winter Conference, Harford County Executive David Craig concluded his one-year term as MACo President, passing on the Association’s top leadership role to Howard County Executive Ken Ulman. Craig stated:
“It has truly been a great honor to serve as president of MACo during the past year at a time of great challenges to counties throughout Maryland. MACo is a strong organization with a tremendous heritage and record of proven leadership in the State. I have enjoyed my tenure in office and will do all I can in the future to support the goals of the Association.”
Ulman has played an active role in the Association having been a member since 2002, a member of the Board of Directors since 2007, and served as the Treasurer in 2010. Howard County Executive and MACo President Ken Ulman stated:
“I am honored to have been elected as President of the MACo Board,” said Executive Ulman. “These are some of the most challenging economic times for local governments, and I promise to do my best and work for the good of all Maryland counties and their citizens.”
