In addition to actions taken on Maintenance of Effort, the Workgroup adopted six fiscal recommendations.   After some discussion, the first recommendation on purchasing consortiums was amended to encourage counties and municipalities to review and provide the Workgroup comments about the Procurement Advisory Council’s Report to the General Assembly on Public Procurement: Cooperation Among State and Local Entities and Maximizing Small Business Participation on Intergovernmental Cooperative Purchasing.   MACo will be receiving a letter regarding these recommendations.
