The National Association of Counties has been closely monitoring the congressional debates on health care reform. According to NACO, the House bill watches out for the county interests in a better way than the Senate version, where debate began this week. The review of key provisions for counties is provided by Paul Beddoe, the Associate Director of Legislative Affairs for NACO.
Mr. Beddoe will be speaking about the important aspects of this legislation for county government and it employees at the upcoming MACo Winter Conference session entitled “Health Care Reform: The County Connection” on Thursday, January 7 at 10:30 a.m..
