Various partners and institutions are providing resources for those federal public servants who are recently unemployed or looking for new opportunities. Maryland Workforce Association Statewide Virtual Job Fair

May 1, 2025, from 10 am to 12 noon

State-wide employment event organized by the Maryland Workforce Association in association with the Maryland Department of Labor and the American Job Center & Workforce Development agencies in Maryland. This Virtual Job Fair has been organized in support of Federal Employees & Contractors seeking new career options and transitioning from their previous work involving the Federal Government. All job seekers are welcome!

Event Schedule:

April 1: Early access opens for organizations to view candidate profiles, browse resumes, and communicate with job seekers who have desired qualifications. Please plan to log in weekly from 4/1 through 4/30 to identify your best candidates and to schedule pre-event meetings with these individuals.

May 1, at 10 am:  Virtual Job Fair is live. You will participate online on the Premier Virtual event page. Log in and use the search, invite, broadcast, and other website features to get visitors to enter your virtual booth. Your primary goal is to engage with candidates using the chat or video options. If you identify a prospect, be certain to ask them to submit an employment application through Premier Virtual, or using your organization’s employment portal. See below for the best ways for maximizing your experience and interactions with job seekers.

May 1 through May 23: Late access remains open to the event website. Log back in and continue to review for potential candidates that you missed. Go to the event report section to access data and use this information to follow-up with job seekers.
