The Maryland State Board of Elections (SBE) announced that the 2024 Presidential primary election ballots have been certified and posted for review on its website.
“As the trusted source for information regarding elections in Maryland, it is our mission to keep voters updated on all aspects of the upcoming election,” said State Administrator Jared DeMarinis. “We encourage voters to review the ballots and periodically check our website or social media accounts for more important dates and deadlines for the 2024 Presidential primary.”
A registered voter will have until close of business on March 13 to seek judicial review of the certified ballots. Once the review period ends, SBE will make any necessary changes and begin the ballot printing process. Voters with questions regarding a ballot can email SBE at info.sbe@maryland.gov.
In addition to announcing the certification, display, and review period for the 2024 Presidential primary ballots, SBE also announced that voters who would like to receive their mail-in ballots as part of the first round of mailings that will be sent out must do so by March 15, 2024. The first will occur around April 1, 2024. Voters can still request mail-in ballots following this date but will receive them as part of a subsequent mailing.
SBE encourages eligible residents not registered to vote using the online registration system. The same system allows registered voters to change party affiliation, update their address, and update their name if it has changed.
Those who prefer not to register to vote online may print the registration form (English version and Spanish version) and submit it at the local board of elections office.
As a reminder, registered voters can vote in three ways in the 2024 Presidential primary election: early in person at select locations, mail-in ballot, or in person on election day at their designated polling place.
