MACo Unveils U.S. Member of Congress as recipient of the Prestigious 2023 Praisner Award.
MACo is delighted to announce the recipient of the 2023 Marilyn J. Praisner Public Service Award, established to honor the remarkable legacy of Marilyn J. Praisner, former Montgomery County Council Member and MACo Past President. With support from the Local Government Insurance Trust, this prestigious award, a collaboration between the Academy for Excellence in Local Governance and MACo, acknowledges outstanding service by current or former elected county officials to their constituents, county, and MACo.
MACo and the Academy for Excellence in Local Governance are proud to unveil U.S. Member of Congress C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger of Baltimore County as the deserving recipient of the 2023 Praisner Award. MACo will honor Congressman Ruppersberger during MACo’s Winter Conference.
