MACo’s “Good Government Book Club” has explored books on public service, time management, problem solving, and much more – with a discussion session set up as a breakout at each #MACoCon event. Let us know know that you’re interested in being part of this – we are selecting the reading for August 2023 right now!

During each MACo conference – including the August 2023 Summer Conference and the December 2023 Winter Conference – MACo will hold a breakout session as a “book club” discussion for participants to talk about a selected book, and draw their own takeaways and revelations. Over recent years, the group has selected a variety of topics ranging from local government budgeting principles to personal time management. It has proven to be a positive and productive segment of the conferences, and many of its adherents look forward specifically to this breakout session at each conference.

We’re selecting the August 2023 book right now, so… let us know if you’d like to be part of the selection process, and among the first to hear about the newest selection.
