NACo Seeks County Input on Behavioral Health Challenges

National Association of Counties LogoNational Association of County’s is seeking input on behavioral health challenges.  The survey on behavioral health comes right before the start of Mental Health Awareness month in May.

The survey has three goals:
1. Learn about the challenges facing counties that seek to provide behavioral health services and programs, including what resources these counties need;

2. Assess the impacts – especially, the financial and human impacts – of behavioral health conditions on county government services and operations; and

3. Gather policy priorities that will shape the future of how county governments can best respond to behavioral health challenges.
Access the survey here.

Respondents who complete the entire survey will be entered into a drawing for one of five (5) $100 Amazon gift cards. Please include your email or phone number at the end of the survey if you wish to be considered for the raffle.

For the purposes of this survey, the term “behavioral health services” will refer to services provided to address both mental illness and substance use disorder.

FINAL EXTENSION: The survey will remain open through Wednesday, April 26. It should take about 10 minutes to complete.
